It’s been a sensational year for the online baby and children’s wear sale store. They have weekly FLASH sales that last between 2 and 4 days with each sale featuring one brand. Favoured by stars of Eastenders and Hollyoaks, Junior Style is the hottest place to shop for designer baby and children’s clothing without the gold encrusted price tag.
Our invitation to the London-based Preview evening came by way of email and Twitter, and I don’t think I’ve RSVP’d to something so quickly. My plus one for this event was 7 week old Mini M who is the newest edition to the ChicFantastique team. This is the last Preview event for 2011 taking place right now until the 26th of November.
In the lead up to Christmas what better place to look for gifts for loved ones, or a gorgeous winter coat or hooded poncho for baby without breaking the bank.

The Junior Style sale boasts an incredible up to 80% discount on leading designer brands such as Bebe, French Connection, baby bedding brand Quick Brown Fox of Dulwich, I Dream Elephants, Bamboo Baby, Franka, Bonnie Baby, Green Eyed Monster, Ugg, Cheeky Monkey, Levis, Oh Baby London, Finger in the Nose, Nibs play suites, Scandinavian Minimal, to name a few.
A lot of the brands are European, so the sizing may be confusing, however the Junior Style team are close to hand to answer your questions. ChicFantastique has previously blogged about the Junior Style Preview events…click here for a catch up. Their exciting new addition is their range of vintage children’s clothing. Totally authentic, a fab 1960’s boys leather coat caught our eye. We also noticed a new organic brand Selana of Switzerland. (We have totally fallen in love with this brand, so we will be test-wearing a two-piece from their range – keep reading).
Mini M and I were in the company of celebrity mummies buying up big for their little angels. The clothes are arranged by brand, and the Junior Style girls encourage trying before you buy, as you won’t be able to return any of the items – so choose wisely.
Mini M and I stayed much longer than anticipated even after a good look through everything three times over, and a chin-wag with the girls behind the concept. It was wonderful to see so many customers filling their baskets while their little ones were having fun with the children’s entertainer.
Far too big for Mini M at the moment, so perhaps next time. These boots came out of the boxes to a gush of ‘oohs’ and ‘aaahs’ from customers. Before we knew it, a flock of mummies surrounded these beautifully crafted boots which ooze quality, which as we know is very important for growing feet.
A great gift idea is the Levi box sets called ‘My First Levis’. This famous fashion denim is also for the little people in our lives and is presented in a cool satchel style box – perfect for the Christmas stocking.
Mini M and I have big love for Bebe by Minihaha so we purchased a gorgeous bubble dress with matching booties. This design of clothing looks gorgeous, but at the same time is still really practical. Easy to access areas, and nice big buttons which new dad, Mr ChicFantastique appreciates!
We also fell in love with the organic brand Selana of Switzerland – 100% Merino wool from organically farmed livestock. Okay, well, that sounds pretty organic, so that went in our basket too. It’s a bold, bright magenta coloured two piece – leggings and a hooded jacket. The interior of the jacket is cream, and it’s so soft to touch. I think it will be a dry clean only situation for this outfit, which isn’t always practical. Absolutely gogeous…Mini M will model after her afternoon snooze.
If you aren’t close to London, then don’t despair, you can still get your hands on these goodies – all you have to do is register. Registration is free and easy and once done you’ll get weekly emails telling you which brand will feature in their online FLASH sale. If you like what you see, log on, log in and indulge in a spot of retail therapy. But you have to be quick as sizes tend to run out quickly and once a sale’s gone…it’s gone!
