Fashion designer update: When Masato met Latimer

The exciting collaboration between Masato and Latimer Couture Jewellery Design was unveiled at Manchester Fashion Week in April 2012 and subsequent Look Book. Read more here from ChicFantastique previous post…

Watch the catwalk video here…Androgynous chic with sharp fringes, off-centre ballet buns, and metallic eyes.

The collection was a rock-edge with Masato’s recognisable shoulder structures and colour palette of grey, silver, black and gold, softened only slightly with a touch of floral fabric, only to be twisted into a tailored piece. And of course perfectly matching the jewellery designs of Latimer Couture – Pointed edges, droplets, stunning chains and gem beading draping sensually across the bare skin of shoulders or the back. The Catwalk Show finished with a stunning floor length gold embellished gown with an open feminine neckline, with folds of fabric falling down the bodice (see photo 4).

Below is the official photo shoot of the two designers beautifully captured by Martin Higgs and Chris Keller-Jackson of Crankphoto taken at Antwerp Mansions in Rusholme, Manchester.

The below design has a retro edge and would have to be my favourite…
