Mint Polo in the Park – wind, rain and Polo

It was high fashion and high winds at this year’s Veuve Clicquot bar enclosure at London’s Mint Polo in the Park at the Hurlingham Club.

By day two, the sun came out, and the stunning white chill out day beds and rose pink love seats which surrounded the main champagne bar were packed with tanned beauties, the dandies, the Sloane crowd and those that genuinely follow horse Polo. This kick started the summer’s hottest anticipated outdoor event programme, and I produced this event on behalf of Inca Productions and Veuve Clicquot.

I talked to so many guests who loved watching the games, but didn’t understand the rules, but simply LOVE Veuve Clicquot champagne.

Fashion mentions go out to Michael Kors midi cross-body bags, classic Chanel padded shoulder bags, raffia wedges, tailored blazers, gold trousers, fabulous print dresses and skirts, Panama hats for the girls, slim-fit coloured trousers for the boys, and the all-important Hunter wellies.
