Knowing the jazzy creative event team behind this production, the London Collections: MEN has been nothing short of a style feast for the boys.
Today is the third and final day of this first ever fashion event featuring established designers with their inspirations for Men SS13. Befitting don’t you think, as we celebrate fathers day here in the UK, while the capital celebrates our fashion forward MENS clothing designers.
Reports so far are saying the buzz is vibrant surfer style complete with matching boards from Kate Eary.
Sharp tailoring from Richard James of Savile Row who is also designing a high street range for Marks & Spencer.
And from my favourite Massimo Nicosia of Nicole Farhi expect to see a whimsical celebration of the British seaside from King George days. In other words, crisp tailoring, blazers, White, navy and cool beige hues.
From the official Royal opening by Prince Charles at St James’ Palace, to the 54 catwalk shows and front row spectators, to the Selfridges roof top crazy golf party with Tinie Tempah to celebrate his ‘Disturbing London’ fashion label.
One of the hottest tickets of the weekend was the Mr Porter/Esquire/Jimmy Choo do, where the gorgeous Alexa Chung spun the records.
I must do a ChicFantastique shout out to the team at Shortlist Mag. Their celebration of this event captured in three limited edition covers for their style specials is fabulous.
The online version of the mag is also hosting live streams from the shows.
