Proenzer Schouler AW2012
An essential to complete the look, the clutch isn’t just for the evening. Networking lunches, meet and greets, product or store launches. As the diary gets busy, so does the clutch.
But keep it simple and sleek. Here are a few rules to doing good clutch:
1. Your clutch doesn’t have to match your outfit. It must be pleasing on the eye though. Mix it up with a pattern, a flash of neon, or be bold with a bright.
2. Choose something easy to carry, either under the arm or hand held. You may remember my lust over the oversized pouch. Perfect!
3. Don’t overfill. Carry essentials only. Phone, iPad (if blogging live from an event), lipstick, tissues, business cards, cash (love real money), cash card or credit card for back up. Choose long wearing make up so there’s no need to carry your entire life.
4. Keep it simple, and if you arrive in full winter gear, use a cloakroom – ditch the coat, hat, umbrella and show off your fab outfit, shoes and clutch! Don’t look like the bag lady.
