An intimate affair as Whistles debuts its LFW collection

Whistles launched its first ever collection at London Fashion Week under an atmosphere of ‘fashion-buzz’.

It was an intimate, salon-style affair at the very stylish Dover Street Arts Club. It was an invite-only event, and we know the hair team from Goldwell very well. The style created was understated-cool!

With a sleek AW13 collection of camouflage-inspired tops, mono-chrome chain mail and jacquardprints, luxe sweaters and leather skirts, Whistles is a high street brand to be taken seriously in the design world.

We adore the monochrome trousers and the knee length slick leather skirt. I’m also going to take a step out of my comfort zone and fall in love with the marbled dress which will look super cute with Whistles Mary-Jane two-tone heels.

Whistles is a British brand and announced only recently that it would show at LFW. Hot on the heels of TopShop and River Island, Whistles successfully presented their very wearable collection, proving high street is high fashion.

I don’t feel my photographs are good enough to show how cool this collection is. See my Instagram for from the show pics
