Musings at the Mews Clifton. Bridal heaven

I told you all I was heading out for a cup of tea and a cake.

What a glorious reception from the team at The Mews in Clifton Village. This is a gorgeous bridal salon featuring beautiful dresses from designers Suzanne Neville, Temperley London, Jenny Packham and Amanda Wakeley.

The entire store is dedicated to creating a beautiful, memorable experience. From the gentle scent of fresh Italian figs, to the tea served in pretty china cups and saucers, the style of the dresses and consultation service provided by owner Gail and her gorgeous girls Rebecca and Kimberley who all come from a background in fashion and accessories design.

One of the newest additions to the salon is the Two Birds designer dresses with Bridesmaids in mind – a single dress in the softest of material that twists and turns to create up to 15 different styles. Perfect if you have a gorgeous gaggle of bridesmaids that are all shapes and sizes.

Designer Vanessa Knox has created something similar for our hip, chic mamas-to-be and both Vanessa and Two Birds designer Ariane Goldman hail from New York. The same design ethos applies – not everyone is the same size and shape, and when pregnant, you want an investment piece that will move with you.
