We retreated to Bristol for the super long weekend. And while it remained cold, the sun shone for us, and we were able to set up a little picnic blanket and enjoy every single ray of much needed sunshine.
From cute bunny ears, to gluten free pancakes, chocolate and the very important Easter Egg hunt, our long weekend was full of good times, lots of food, laughs and our lovely little family of three.
We started our morning with gluten free mini pancakes with a dollop of Nutella, chopped banana and a drizzle of honey.
I scooted off to the garden to hide the Easter eggs and set the table with a morning tea of more chocolate. This time rice krispie chocolate ‘crackle’ cakes in little Aussie cases. After a few press ups and some much needed hoola hooping, Mr and Mini appeared ready for the hunt, and to eat more chocolate than any of us could cope with. All egged out. After an exhausting egg hunt,
it’s time for a rest with the cat in the sunshine and the long grass.
