News du jour: Tech giant Apple plans to release a new version of the iPhone operating system this year with health and fitness tracking integration as its headline feature.
Sources are reporting that there are plans for an app called “Healthbook” that will be used to monitor calories burned, steps taken, and weight lost, even monitoring your heart rate & glucose levels.
Once again Apple is bringing to the market a breakthrough product as a part of the iWatch phenomenon.
I’ve had a look at these smart watches and they are, on the whole pretty dull with basic features and clunky designs. Many have compared the current state of smart watches to what smartphones looked like before the iPhone launched.
