Woo hoo – wild parties on Nikki beach, music festival in Ramatuelle, morning markets full of fresh fruit and vegetables, and long days in Pampelonne beach clubs.
I’m planning my escape from the hum-drum right now. St Tropez is also a fabulous location to plan a party event – either a private do, or something a little more buzzy for the fashion or beauty press. It’s worth also bearing in mind that industries such as automotive and property are looking to glam up their event style by adding a chic location to their event calendar. Product launches where industry press are flown in to an area shrouded by an excitable amount of secrecy and intrigue.
Nice Airport is a bustling international airport, and there will be private areas to land private jets and helicopters closer to St Tropez such as La Môle Airport. By road, St Tropez is approximately 1.5 hours, however do allow up to 2.5 hours during the peak of Summer (June, July and August).
There’s more to St Tropez than beach, such as St Tropez Polo Club, a host of Golf resorts coastal walks, museums, galleries, luxury boutique shopping, cocktail sipping and so much more than the billion dollar yachts moored in the harbour – but they are a tourist attraction in themselves.
There are a host of property agents and luxury villa rentals dotted along the Azure, and if you need a recommendation, please drop me a line. As this is my special area of deep interest, follow my blog for South of France updates and hot spots or do get in touch if you are planning an event on the Cote d’Azure and require event management.
